First of all, Gin is for retards. The only acceptable gin drink is a Gin & Tonic, with a massive wedge of lime, and only on a hot summer afternoon. And, the only acceptable gin to drink in a G&T is Bombay Sapphire. If you should ever come across someone drinking Gin neat, report them to the authorities, because you can be certain that person has a dungeon in their basement and body parts in their freezer.

Not worth the price. Especially considering the lower ABV which should bring the price down not up.

Instead of making a judgement which of these two are the best, you could simply just tell us which one you prefer yourself, if you have to choose only one?? Well, when the choice should be so difficult, the price (which are almost double up for the Aviation) should make it quite simple!

I was just going through your videos and I just noticed you have never tried Cotswolds gins. You seriously need to get yourself a bottle.

Overall, my favorite gin is Broker's. But for a Martini, it's Boodle's, hands down.

Got a 50cl bottle for 5.99euros today, currently trying a g&t with a generous splash of fino (dry white sherry wine from Jerez) and it's pretty, pretty good!

Gordon's, as you say is not a great gin and in the US it comes in a clear bottle and is pretty cheap. When Plymouth first came to the US, it was about 38 proof. I loved it for the low ABV but they (in this country) upped it to 86 to pease the US market. In the US, we have recently experienced a tax driven revolution creating many great local distillers. I have one in Newark, NJ call All points West that does several (catHouse, Pink Pepper) that are fantastic. I do agree with you on the quality and taste of the Hendricks despite your aversion to cucumbers.. My gin of preference is Bombay Saphire because I mostly drink it in martinis. Thjere is a PA (philadelphia) distiler that make a berand called Blue Coat which is not to pricey and the only one I would drink neet or with a good (Fever Tree?) tonic

Beefeater was my go to but they keep lowering the abv its now down to 80 proof for the same price sad because it really is a great gin

Both are really good gins, but if I have to choose, I go for the Tanqueray which I found more balanced and smooth. Beefeater are more citrus like Tanqueray also a bit more expensive here in Denmark, Beefeater you can get very cheap, also cheaper than the Bombay Sapphire! On sale Beefeater is just around £11, some times even cheaper! Tanqueray normally around £20, on sale down to £12.5 which is the best price I have found Personally my Gin favorite is this Tanqueray standard gin and then the more expensive and citrus tasting Malfy Gin Rose. Because they are quite different in taste, I am pretty satisfied just having these two at home, simply because I can not ask for more :)

I love cucumber. Cucumber has a lot of health benefits. It is a common condiment for many of my food intake. Hendrick's is just too high priced. I hope other gin manufacturers will give Hendrick's a run for the money.

I finally got my limited edition bottle awhile ago, so yes, they still have some of them left! I’ve really been savoring it! It tastes just exquisite! I’m hoping to be quick enough to get at least one or two more of these bottles! Excellent review Bobby!

Ungava is my go-to Canadian Gin... we drink it on ice (no mix) and if I could get "Breakfast Gin" (from Quebec) in Ontario I would put that up there as well but it's no longer available. Lovely Bergamot notes.

Brokers and Bombay Sapphire are my first choices. My sister brought a bottle of Larios back from Spain. It was surprisingly pleasing. Served neat, it's candy-like in its simplicity. If it's truly the *cheapest gin,* it punches above its weight.
